icky and her husband Rick were married in 1990 and often
speak together at marriage events. In 2000 Rick retired from
the United States Army as a Lt. Colonel after twenty-five
years of military service. The Olsen’s moved
back to Vicky’s hometown of Leavenworth, Kansas and welcomed their first
child, a daughter named Abby Rose, in 2002.
In 1996 Vicky and Rick founded Christian V.I.E.W.
(Vessels of Influence, Excellence, & Wholeness) Ministries,
based on 2 Corinthians 4:7, “But we have this treasure
in earthen vessels…” Christian V.I.E.W. Ministries
is a speaking and teaching ministry that imparts to men and
women a renewed awareness of who they are, and who they can
become, in Christ.

VICKY |
| Vicky has been in full-time ministry as a professional Christian
speaker and Certified
Personality Trainer since 1996. Vicky is
also a contributing author to two books
and numerous articles. |
ABOUT
RICK |
At the age of 18, Rick entered the United States Marine
Corps and served as a Military Police Officer. After being
honorably
discharged from the Marine Corps, he finished college and
entered the United States Army as a Second Lieutenant, again
serving in the Military Police field. In 2000 Rick retired
from the Army at the rank of Lt. Colonel after twenty-five
years of military service. He is currently employed by the
Army as a Team Chief and Professor of Military Leadership
at the Command and General Staff College at Ft. Leavenworth,
Kansas.
Rick holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice,
a Masters of Divinity in Pastoral Counseling, and a Doctorate
of Ministry in Church Leadership from Talbot School of Theology.
Rick has twenty years of marital and premarital counseling
experience and is an effective communicator who relates to
audiences of all ages and backgrounds.
